Photogrammetry

The use of drones in geodesy is a common form of data acquisition. Drone imagery can be used to generate high-resolution orthophotos and detailed 3D models, which are often complementary to point clouds obtained from laser scanning. The use of dedicated image processing software allows for the:

  • creation of a Numerical Terrain Model (NMT)

  • creation of Numerical Model of Terrain Cover (NMPT)

  • creation of orthophoto maps,

  • creation of point clouds,

  • colouring of the previously acquired point cloud from laser scanning,

  • development of 3D models,

  • conducting of technical inspections,

  • execution of volume measurements.
